SRD Engineering utilised predominantly Vertical Machining Centres in their plant, achieving no better than 40-50% utilisation per manned spindle – adding a 15 pallet Matsuura H.Plus-300 PC15 horizontal changed that dramatically with uptime & utilisation results in excess of 90%, thanks to Matsuura’s proven lights out automation.

With their Matsuura H.Plus-300 PC15 eating the work of several manned vertical machines, SRD Engineering see great potential for growing their business due to the automation & time-savings experienced – in some cases reducing seven operations per part down to one.
