Volume 3D Printer
Matsuura is delighted to announce that Paragon Rapid Technologies Ltd have invested in a HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D printer for their purpose-built facility in Darlington.
As Paragon Rapid Technologies Ltd aims to grow, it recognises the need to offer an additive manufacturing solution that delivers on productivity, sustainability, quality and cost efficiency. The 5200 printer enables them to scale up production with minimal wastage and allows for faster processing and therefore faster delivery of completed parts. The addition of HP Jet Fusion technology complements and expands Paragon’s current additive manufacturing offering and means the business can accommodate a broader range of applications.
The company has its sights on growth as an element of their five-year plan is to turnover £15m per year by 2025. To reach this, CEO and Founder, Phillip Adamson, has predicted additive manufacturing to be the largest contributor and has identified key areas of focus including the medical and healthcare field, specifically in orthotics and prosthetics.
