Introducing VaporFuse Surfacing from DyeMansion

Bacteria Resistant MJF Parts

2 minute video;

Introducing VaporFuse Surfacing from DyeMansion; expanding the possibilities for bacteria resistant components produced on the HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printer family.

This test examines the influence of VaporFuse Surfacing (VFS) on bacterial growth on a HP MJF 3D printed part. A simple contact test was performed using the sample part and contact plates. The results show that bacteria growth is fast on an untreated part, whilst the VFS treated part still shows no sign of bacterial growth after 40 hours.
