Moving Forward

Over the past seven weeks, we have seen why the UK Manufacturing community is the best in the World, pulling together to support the national drive for additional medical equipment. During this time we have been immensely proud to support a great many of our customers who have risen to the challenge and excelled at delivering frontline solutions to our NHS.

As companies begin to get back to full strength, we must all consider how the dynamics of business – and indeed everyday life, have changed. Although safety has long been a major factor and a matter of ongoing long-term investment throughout our organisation, it’s now been pushed to the forefront. We fully understand how important it is to ensure that measures are taken to protect everyone who interacts with our business and stay protected from COVID-19.

Social distancing and virus containment strategies will be with us for a long time. To those ends we have implemented many operational and infrastructure changes across our business. We have successfully implemented new working procedures for our Service and Applications engineers when visiting customer sites, whilst many of our staff continue to offer frontline product support from their homes, delivering our renowned high level of one to one communication with our customers.

For those companies taking deliveries of new machines, we have a range of solutions to fully train your staff whilst strictly adhering to social distancing guidelines and embracing established communications technologies and/or PPE where appropriate.

Our Leicestershire showroom facility remains open for business. I would like to assure all potential visitors that every precaution will be taken to ensure your safety and wellbeing. Everyone at Matsuura has a renewed focus on how we support our customers, new and old, to grow and re-establish existing and new opportunities.

The world will continue to move forward and adapt positively during these challenging times. By working closely together, the UK manufacturing sector can proudly strive forward to limit the impact of the current pandemic – and Matsuura will be there long-term to pro-actively play our part in the recovery.
