Operational Measures

Dear Customers, 

In response to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Matsuura are taking a series of measures to ensure the continued provision of service and support to our customers whilst protecting the health and safety of everyone we work with. We recognise that company’s still have orders to fulfil and product to deliver and as such we remain committed to supporting our customers through these challenging times. 

Matsuura will continue to offer our usual high standard of customer care and we intend to maintain our usual business hours of 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday. In the event of mandatory or legislative changes to the movement of people, we will inform our customers of our revised business continuity arrangements. 

Customer Support 

Matsuura has implemented a social distancing and increased hygiene regime throughout all our business activities. Our revised safe systems of work can be applied whilst both on site at customers premises as well as internally at our showroom facility. 

Matsuura staff, across all departments, will continue to be accessible to you via telephone, email, video conferencing and live chat. Like all UK engineering businesses, our applications and service teams will deliver priority support to any customers producing critical CNC or 3D printed components related to Coronavirus research, diagnosis, treatment or prevention. 

Service, Spares and Breakdown 

Service visits will continue as planned and all our engineers are following specific hygiene instructions in addition to changes in PPE and personal sanitiser equipment. We fully respect any enhanced access or control measures that you may have implemented. Additionally, through social distancing principles we aim to seek a proactive workable solution to continue to safely support your people, plant and processes. 

Our spare parts department will continue to maintain usual operations and deliveries. As Matsuura UK is the spares and spindles stockholding centre for the whole of Europe, we have extensive stock levels of the primary spares components, at our Leicestershire HQ, covering the breadth of our product portfolio. 

Visiting 

Visitors to Matsuura are welcome, on an advanced appointment basis, where specific instructions in line with Government recommendations will ensure your safety as well as the safety of our own people. In the event of a suspected case of the Coronavirus, we have plans and procedures in place to contain the virus and decontaminate our site. 

New Machine Investments 

Through these difficult times, we all recognise that life must continue as close to normal as possible, within the constraints of this evolving situation. Machine deliveries, installations, cutting trials and turnkey projects are continuing as planned. Our Sales team remain committed to supporting all of our customers, be they new or established, with process and operational advice to help cope with the increasing demands of your business. We continue to hold a broad cross section of our product range in UK stock for quick delivery, enabling you to potentially react to the changing dynamics of these challenging times.
