Filmed at Southern Manufacturing 2019, Matsuura’s Mark Cumberland talks to Paul Jones from MTDCNC about our exhibition world first – creating 3D printed work-holding for our unique heavy cut 5 axis machining demonstration.
The work-holding was designed using Generative Design from Autodesk, printed at Matsuura UK on one of our stock HP 4200 Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printers and machined on the large capacity Matsuura MX-850 5 axis machine.
Matsuura UK has customers in the UK for our 5 axis products who have also invested in a Matsuura supplied HP 3D printer for the very purpose of creating their own bespoke fixturing & work-holding in-house.
Does your machine shop require bespoke, rapid work-holding and fixturing for your CNC machining operations created in hours rather than weeks?
Want to save money on your work-holding, have full manufacturing control & slash turnaround time to market - with no compromise in the strength, performance, rigidity or integrity of your work-holding?
