Craftsman Tools Invest in Flagship MAM72-35V

1st Ever 5 Axis Machine

Craftsman Tools have invested in their first 5 axis multi-pallet machine; the flagship MAM72-35V from Matsuura - the market leading automated tower pallet multi-axes machining centre.

The reasons for their new technology investment selection are numerous; in this video Paul Jones from MTDCNC talks to Fred Morrow from Craftsman not only about their Matsuura choice, but also the issues with machining of cast iron, maintaining accuracy over long-periods of lights out production, reliable unmanned running and dramatically reduced cycle times.

Craftsman Tools are one of a small number of UK companies who have made their transition into 5 axis multi-pallet unmanned machining in 2018, all of which started at the top of the technology curve by investing in the MAM72-35V.
