Class 1000 Spindle Facility Investment

Welcome to the Winning Team

Reflecting the strength of UK Manufacturing, our increased market share & the growth of CNC machine tools from our portfolio in successful operation within British companies, Matsuura has continued to commit substantial investment in our UK staff, infrastructure & support services.

One department that is experiencing significant investment in 2018 is our Spindle Department with its Class 1000 cleanroom where all Matsuura Spindles are assembled to OEM “as new” specification.

Unique for any machine tool supplier in the UK, our Spindle Facility based within our bespoke HQ in Leicestershire provides “off the shelf” service exchanges spindles for Matsuura users all over the UK & Europe. Should any customer experience an issue with their spindle, a service exchange spindle from stock can be despatched same day, to be met shortly after at the customers premises by a time served Matsuura Service Engineer to minimise their production downtime. The defective spindle is then returned to our Class 1000 Spindle Facility for precision disassembly and investigation as to why the issue arose. A detailed disassembly report is compiled & made available to the customer.

To maintain our superb spindle response times, Matsuura has taken on a number of new Engineers & Apprentices in 2017-18 to serve our growing customer base.

Matsuura is pleased to welcome the following skilled professionals to our Spindle Team;

In June 2018, our Spindle Facility will undergo a significant expansion of the department, with an extension to the Class 1000 clean room floorspace adding extra capacity to our Spindle Operations.
