PDM2018 - HP Multi-Jet Fusion and LUMEX

Visit us on Stand A042 in Telford

Matsuura Machinery Ltd will be exhibiting at Plastics Design & Moulding Event (PDM2018) on 19th and 20th June at Telford International Centre, on stand A042 dedicated to our additive manufacturing solutions.

Matsuura’s stand will feature new sample parts from both the HP Jet Fusion 3D printer, and Matsuura’s LUMEX hybrid 3D metal printing and CNC milling machine.

HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printer is designed for creating bespoke one-offs, prototypes, short runs or mass production. Offering superior, consistent part-quality, reliability and speed, HP Multi Jet Fusion technology is reinventing prototyping and final parts manufacturing.

If you have a close tolerance, intricate component which cannot be manufactured conventionally, then the LUMEX is an ideal solution to create components in a variety of metals.

Imagine the ability to "grow" a metal component in layers with complex internal features and then fine mill those internal features as the layers are added to give a perfect surface finish, eventually encapsulating the intricate internal features and their machined surface finish inside the finished component. This is what makes the LUMEX such a unique and remarkable production machine tool, offering designers and manufacturers a route to designing what they can imagine, and not be limited by the restrictions of their current production methods, strategies and machines.

As with Matsuura UK’s subtractive ranges of high quality CNC machine tools, our Additive Manufacturing products and our customers will be fully supported long term by our specialised AM Applications Engineers and Service Technicians.

Joseph Bellis, AM Technical and Sales Specialist at Matsuura Machinery Ltd commented: “The PDM event provides the ideal platform to demonstrate our additive manufacturing range, inspiring visitors to our stand with some real-world examples of bespoke components 3D printed in a variety of metals & PA11, PA12 & PA12GB plastics – we are here to challenge conventional thinking regarding the future methods of manufacturing.”
