MD-60G

MD-60G is a single spindle, single turret lathe with live tooling on 10 stations. Integrated automation.

The single spindle MD range from Muratec shares the same levels of proven Muratec automation in a compact machine format with an exeptionally small footprint.

The MD-60's flexibility appeals to both low volume high variety users as much as its ability to handle high volume production, with quick change over features the gantry loading system can change from one component to another in a matter of minutes.

With automation as standard across the range, the MD-60 has a load/unload time of 5 seconds for components up to 120mm diameter x 80mm long with the gantry travelling at up to 150 m/min and is fully controlled from the machines CNC control system. For larger components the MD-60 can be used as a standard CNC Chucking machine.

Include the optional component turn around station and complete component processing can be achieved in one operation.

Perhaps the most impressive feature is the MD-60’s footprint covering just 2.5m x 2.4m including the gantry loading system and the swarf extraction system.
