MURATEC MURATA MW SeriesHigh Volume, High Quality TurningReleased at: 10:00 19/04/2005 Designed for the economic high volume one hit production of high accuracy automotive components, the MURATEC MW Series feature twin spindles, twin chucks & high speed twin gantries for rapid load / unload operations. There are currently in excess of 4,000 MW machines installed throughout the world.
 Flexibility, reliability, high volume production & quality are standard features of all MURATEC products - making them a firm favourite with high volume automotive component makers the world over.
 Both forward facing spindles are fitted with a 210mm chuck, & are driven by 7.5kW motors to a maximum speed of 4,500rpm. An 11kW spindle drive is available as an option. There are two eight station turrets (12 option) & each of the integrated robot loaders - one for each spindle - feature a dual gripper & a swivel head. Each unit accommodates two parts (blank & machined component) up to 120mm in diameter x 80mm long & weighing up to 3kg.
 The traverse speeds are 150m/min left & right, 110m/min up & down & 35m/min
forward & backwards.
These outstanding machines have been designed to provide maximum flexibility of operation by working as seperate machines or with transfer between chucks for first & second operations.
