MX-520 - New 5 Axis Machine

Marking our 75th Anniversary celebrations Matsuura are pleased to announce that the first machine in our new generation of single table compact 5 axis machines will be the Matsuura Maxia MX-520 - launched in the UK & Ireland from April 6th 2010.

Primarily the MX will be targetted at companies making the switch from 3 axis to 5 axis operations - a transition that Matsuura UK is very experienced & adept at undertaking with great success for UK metal cutting businesses.

The MX-520 is extremely rigid & compact possessing a Ø300 single table / trunnion configuration. Maximum component weight is 150 kg - with an acceptable billet size of Ø520mm X H350mm. Standard spindle speed will be 12,000rpm. Axis travels are X: 630mm Y: 560mm Z: 510mm, A Axis: -125 ~ +10.

This new series of Matsuura 5 axis machines are built to the same exacting quality standards as our established MAM72 series at our main plant in Fukui, Japan.
