Matsuura Launch 2 New Large VerticalsReleased at:11:00 14/12/2009 Matsuura Machinery is pleased to announce the launch of two new large Vertical machining centres – the V.Plus-1500 & the V.Plus-2000.
Offering X axis travels of 1500mm & 2000mm respectively & a huge 2,000mm front door loading access, these large capacity verticals come with Matsuura’s renowned & robust Big Plus BT50 Hi-Tech Spindle offering 700nm of torque as standard & a maximum speed of 10,000rpm.
These new models have been developed over the past two years in conjunction with current UK & European Matsuura product users who have had a growing requirement for a robust & precise high quality vertical capable of machining large & long components.
The voluminous machining enclosures on both machines are ergonomically designed around user comfort & are very well lit. 40 tool places are supplied as standard, each tool weighing up to 20kg. The NC is the latest generation Matsuura Fanuc G-Tech 30i possessing powerful data processing capability. A new innovation for the NC is the sliding mechanism allowing the NC to be moved away from the doors when loading large & unwieldy billets or components.
