Mahle Powertrain Order 4 More Matsuura’s18 Matsuura machines already installedReleased at: 11:00 02/02/2007 Increasing demand for its products from a leading German automotive manufacturer has led Mahle Powertrain to invest in four more Matsuura Machine Tools, to be installed alongside the 18 they already utilise in their capacious Wellingborough facility.
The new machines, ordered from stock in the first week of January 2007, are being tailored to Mahle’s production requirements at Matsuura’s Leicestershire base, including extensive Hydraulic fixturing on all machines, for delivery in early February 2007.
The machines ordered are as follows:
H.Plus-405 PC2 High Speed Horizontal (Twin Pallet) / 4th Axis / 15,000RPM Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 51 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe & NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement & Breakage Detection – the fifth H.Plus-405 Mahle have purchased.
 V.Plus-800 High Speed Vertical / 4th Axis & Tailstock / 12,000RPM Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 40 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe & NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement & Breakage Detection – the 4th V.Plus-800 Mahle have purchased.
 V.Plus-1000 High Speed Vertical / 4th Axis & Tailstock / 12,000RPM Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 40 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe & NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement & Breakage Detection.
 V.Plus-1000 High Speed Vertical / 4th Axis & Tailstock / 12,000RPM Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 30 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe & NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement & Breakage Detection.
