Our UK Facility has 69 full time employees, more than two thirds of which are engaged in frontline pre & post sales engineering support.

Matsuura’s Service Department is staffed by some of the most talented & knowledgeable Engineers in the business, all constantly receiving updated training & product updates from our parent company. Trained to an impeccable standard, our Engineers have full working & technical knowledge across our whole product range – including Distributed Products. Our service response is usually within 24 hours of logging a customer call & we not only strive to achieve that high level of service, we also invest substantially every year to maintain & improve our response. Out of hours service & telephone support is also available by prior arrangement.

Working closely with our Service Department is our impressive Spares Department & Storage Facility. Possessing bonded warehouse status, our automated stores facility carries over 20,000 different lines of spares for our customer base Europe wide.

Contained within our Leicestershire facility is a 4,000m2 air-conditioned showroom, with a vast array of machines always on show & under power. Visitors at short notice are always welcome, & can expect to see live machining demonstrations on all available machines, cutting a wide range of components from an equally broad spectrum of materials. Standard cutting demonstrations of components from all major industrial sectors are immediately available, or should you require, your proposed component could be accommodated – (with a little notice).

Unique for any UK Machine Tool solutions supplier is our Class 1000 Clean Room Spindle Facility, for new Matsuura Spindle Build & Customer Spindle refurbishment, staffed by highly experienced UK Engineers, fully trained in Japan. At the heart of every Matsuura Machining Centre is a Hi-Tech Spindle, designed & manufactured only by Matsuura. This state of the art Spindle facility services our customers Europe wide. Pioneers of High Speed Spindles, our history, knowledge & expertise in the field of state of the art Spindles are beyond doubt – as is the reliability & durability of our Spindles. However, should you be unfortunate enough to experience any problems, you can be assured that UK experts are on hand & will repair or replace your Spindle, usually within 24 hours of receiving your call.

Embedded within our Applications Department is our in house CADCAM Facility, utilising all major CADCAM Software Packages. As an integral component of our pre / post sales service, our CADCAM engineers are tasked to optimising your machining programmes to get the very best out of our Products & maximising your return on investment – including Distributed Products.
